Organizational Commitment in Puebla Higher Education Institutions. Impact on your strategies and competitive advantage

The organizational commitment of Meyer and Allan's (1991) model is based on three dimensions: affective, normative, and calculated. The purpose of this research is to analyze the dimensions of organizational commitment in Puebla Higher Education Institutions, both public and private, through the model of Prieto et al., (2017) based on the theory of Meyer and Allan (1991), identifying the causes of the levels of organizational commitment, their impact on their strategies and competitive advantage. The methodology will have a mixed approach, with descriptive scope, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, in the capital of the state of Puebla, in six higher education institutions, three public as well as three private, the subjects of study will be the teaching staff, the directors, the students and the staff of the Human Resources department, the selection of the sample will be for convenience, The techniques for gathering the information will be in-depth interviews, surveys, and documentation review. What is expected to be found is to know if there are significant differences in the way of achieving their competitive advantage, the turnover of the teaching staff, the perception of the students about the impact of turnover in their classes and the degree of organizational commitment.
