Proposal for an evaluation model with a focus on SDG 8 for multi-stakeholder alliances in Latin America and the Caribbean

Resumen

Collaborations towards sustainable development between several sectors such as companies, non-profit organizations, governments, and universities have evolved in recent years. This research studies the work of multi-stakeholder partnerships, MSP, that pursue to achieve social, labor, and digital inclusion for people with disabilities in Latin America and the Caribbean by analyzing the concepts of multi-stakeholder partnerships, their critical success factors, and the proposal of an evaluation model to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of its results as a network.

The study uses a mixed method with interviews and focus groups to four business networks and a questionnaire to validate the critical success factors found in literature. The proposal is based in literature and validated with business networks. This research examines business networks that collaborate for inclusion of people with disabilities. Future research may consider proposals for models of governance, leadership and communication in networks.
